It’s great that you’ve found someone you can trust and want to talk to, however we know that sometimes counsellors are busy or there are other boundaries preventing them from helping you long term.
A good place to start is to look at the people around you are see if there is anyone in your network who you feel you can talk to. This may be friends, family, work colleagues, teachers or religious figures just to name a few.
